MANDARIN SALAD 
DRESSING:

1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. salad oil
2-3 drops hot sauce
1 tbsp. snipped parsley

SALAD:

1/4 c. slivered honey roasted almonds
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 head lettuce
1/4 head Romaine
1 c. celery
2 green onions, sliced
1 can mandarin oranges

Mix all dressing ingredients in tight jar and refrigerate.

Tear lettuce and Romaine in pieces and place in large plastic bag, add celery and onions. Refrigerate.

At serving time add mandarin oranges, drained and almonds to bag. Add dressing and shake well. May be made ahead of time for company.
