STUFFED PORK CHOPS | |
4 thick pork chops 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. soft bread cubes 1 c. apples, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. apple jelly 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Put butter in a 1-quart glass casserole dish and put into microwave for 30 seconds on high. Add bread cubes, apples, and salt. Mix thoroughly. cut pork chops form 1 side to form a pouch. Stuff pork chops with bread cube mixture. Place pork chops in a glass dish. Mix apple jelly with the Worcestershire sauce. Brush pork chops with this mixture. Cover with wax paper and cook for 11 minutes at medium high in the microwave. Turn pork chops over and brush with glaze. Cook 9-11 minutes more. Let stand covered for 5 minutes and serve. |
