SPANISH PEANUT BARS | |
1 c. peanut butter 1 stick butter 2 c. chocolate chips 10 oz. pkg. marshmallows 4 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. Spanish peanuts 1/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar Cook peanut butter, butter, 1 cup chocolate chips over low heat. Add marshmallows (40 large). Melt over low heat. Mix in Rice Krispies and peanuts. Remove from heat. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine milk, vanilla, 1 cup chocolate chips and butter. Cook over low heat. Pour mixture into 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Spread over Rice Krispie mixture while warm. Harden in refrigerator. Cut into bars. |
