2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c. uncooked quick oatmeal
1 c. nuts (optional)
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Bring sugar, milk, cocoa and butter to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 2 minutes. Add oatmeal, nuts, peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until mixture begins to cool. Drop amounts from spoon onto wax paper. Keep in airtight container.
