CHERRY PIE SQUARES 
1 c. butter or 70% butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
3 c. flour
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and almond extract together, then add flour, mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour cherry pie filling on batter and top with remaining batter and spread it out (it won't quiet cover all).

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

Frosting:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk

Mix together and drizzle on the pie squares. Cut into squares and serve.

These may be made ahead of time and stored in an air tight container.
