APPLESAUCE - TOPPED HAM | |
2 tbsp. butter 2 ham slices, 1/2" thick 1/2 c. applesauce 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice Melt butter in skillet over low heat. Add ham slices and fry for 3-5 minutes on each side. (If you use precooked ham, fry for only 2 minutes on each side.) While ham is cooking, mix the applesauce, brown sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl. When ham is ready, spread applesauce on top. Serves 4. |
