FALL TIME APPLE CAKE | |
3 cups baking apples, peeled and diced 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil 3 eggs 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans Preheat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over apples, set aside. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Stir in flour then vanilla, apples and chopped pecans. Mix well. Pour into one Bundt ring pan or two regular size loaf pans. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Submitted by: Rosa Mullins |
