FRENCH APPLE BREAD 
3/4 c. butter, melted
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. apple, peeled & chopped
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Melted butter
Cinnamon sugar

Combine 3/4 cup melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, applesauce, apple, cheese and nuts. Stir in dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon into well greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
