BOILED CUSTARD 
1 qt. milk, heat but do not boil
Pinch of salt
4 eggs, well beaten

Use a double boiler. Mix together 3/4 cup sugar and 2 heaping tablespoons flour and then pour into eggs; stir. When milk is hot, pour in mix and keep stirring. Cook until smooth. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla when completely cool. Stir well and refrigerate.
