APPLE COFFEE CAKE 
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. nuts, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling

Grease a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Mix pie filling and cinnamon; set aside. Beat flour, sugar, milk, butter, baking powder, salt and eggs in a large mixing bowl; on low speed, scraping bowl often. Beat 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed about 2 minutes. Pour half the batter into prepared pan. Spoon half of the pie filling over batter. Repeat with remaining batter and filling. Bake 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees.

GLAZE TOPPING:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter

Glaze if desired.
