1 (3 oz.) cream cheese 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 1 egg 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chopped nuts Cream the cream cheese and butter; add flour. Chill. Shape into 24 balls. Put into tiny muffin cups, building up sides too. Nut filling: Beat together the egg, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and vanilla until smooth. First put some nuts in pastry tart, then add filling, then more nuts on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, then remove. VERY GOOD. |
