1 box yellow butter cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1/2 stick butter
Juice of 1 sm. can of mandarin oranges (cut up oranges for batter)
1 c. pecans, chopped (reserve some for top of cake)

Mix and beat 2 minutes. Pour batter into 3 (9 inch) pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 lg. Cool Whip
1 pkg. (sm. box) instant vanilla pudding
1 sm. can crushed pineapple with juice

Mix well. Spread between layers, sides and top. Sprinkle nuts on top.
