PEPPER STEAK 
1 lg. round steak
2 cans mushrooms
1 can Campbell's French onion soup
1 c. ketchup (or more to taste)
1 c. water
1 green pepper

Cut steak in strips; remove all fat. Brown in skillet. Salt and pepper to taste. When meat is browned, remove from skillet. Wipe out skillet and wash steak over hot water to remove grease. Return meat to skillet. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until meat is tender.

Serve over rice or potatoes or cooked noodles.
