1 c. corn meal
1 c. self-rising flour
1 med. onion, minced
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 c. boiling water

Mix all ingredients together, adding boiling water last. Drop by tablespoons into hot cooking oil. Fry until golden brown.
