MANDARIN TOSSED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn
1 c. sliced celery
6 green onions, chopped
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained well
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
Dressing (recipe follows)

Combine the first 6 ingredients in large bowl; toss with dressing.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. tarragon wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Combine all ingredients in a jar. Cover tightly and shake vigorously. Chill. Shake again before serving over salad. Yield 1 cup.
