PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE KISSES | |
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter 1/2 c. butter 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/3 c. sifted self-rising flour 40 milk chocolate kisses 1. Combine brown sugar, peanut butter and butter in mixing bowl; beat thoroughly. 2. Add egg and vanilla; blend well. 3. Add flour, blend well. 4. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. 5. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. 6. Bake 5 minutes. Remove baking sheets from oven. 7. Press chocolate kisses into center of each cookie. 8. Return to oven, bake 3 minutes. Watch carefully to avoid burning chocolate. 9. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Cool completely before storing. |
