MARSHMALLOW ICING | |
2 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. corn syrup 1/2 c. cold water 1/4 tsp. salt 10 marshmallows 2 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla Boil sugar, syrup, salt and water until speed until stiff, continue beating and pour syrup over egg whites slowly, takes 3 or 4 minutes longer. Add vanilla and marshmallows and continue beating until icing forms peaks when lifted with spoon. |
