TURKEY PIE 
2 c. cubed cooked turkey or chicken
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. sliced celery
1 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter
1 can golden mushroom soup
2 c. cooked green beans
Pastry for 2 crust pie
Milk

Toss turkey with flour. In saucepan cook carrots, onion and celery in butter with thyme and pepper until tender. Stir in soup, turkey and green beans.

Pour into deep dish 9 inch pastry lined pie pan. Roll out remaining pastry; cut into 3/4 inch strips. Crisscross strips over filling to form lattice top. Brush pastry with milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.

Note: Better allow at least 2 hours preparation and baking time. We think its well worth the trouble.
