STUFFED APPLE DUMPINGS 
Pie dough, enough for 4 pies
8 apples, peeled and cored

FILLING:

1 c. coconut
1 c. black walnuts
1/2 c. honey
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together.

Stuff the inside of each apple with coconut, walnut and honey mixture. Set each apple on a rolled out piece of dough large enough to completely wrap an apple. Place in baking dish. Bake 350 degrees 1 hour or until done.

SYRUP:

2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon

Boil sugar, water and cinnamon together 5 minutes. Pour over dumplings. Bake 10 minutes more. Serve hot with ice cream or whip cream.
