1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all above. Shape into small walnut size balls. Roll in granulated sugar (shake in plastic bag). Bake on ungreased sheet at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Push a chocolate kiss into each.
