GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
Soak for 24 hours 10 pounds sliced green tomatoes in 2 gallons lime water (2 cups lime). Drain and soak in fresh water 4 hours, changing water every hour. Drain and wash.

5 lbs. sugar
3 pts. vinegar
1 box pickling spice
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed

Bring to a boil and pour over tomatoes. Let stand overnight. Next morning, boil for 2 hours and seal in jars.
