MOLASSES CRINKLES 
3/4 c. soft Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves

Mix well the Crisco, sugar, molasses and egg. Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Chill dough several hours. Roll in balls size of walnuts. Dip tops in sugar and flatten. Tops will crinkle.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. These are a soft cookie.
