KALE SOUP 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
3 cans chicken broth
2 potatoes, diced
1 c. linquisa, sliced
1 can Italian tomatoes
2 carrots, sliced
1 c. cut up kale
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. noodles or macaroni (optional)

Saute onion in butter. Add all ingredients except noodles into large pot. Simmer 1 hour, adding noodles in the last 10 minutes. More broth may be added if too thick. Serve with garlic bread.
