ALMA'S APPLE PUDDING 
Boil to a syrup, about 5 minutes:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Place in 8x12 greased pan:

4 to 5 peeled and sliced apples

Pour syrup over apples.

Make biscuit dough and drop by spoonfuls over apples. Make a dent in top of each and place a little of following into the dent:

2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Bake 25-30 minutes at 450 degrees. Serve warm.

BISCUIT DOUGH:

Mix:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Cut in:

1/4 c. shortening

Stir in:

3/4 c. milk

(Dough will be soft.)
