HOT SPICED TOMATO BOUILLON 
1 1/2 qt. tomato juice or V-8 Juice (6 c.)
3 tbsp. sugar
6-7 cloves and dash of ground cloves
1 sm. onion, sliced
2 c. beef bouillon
1 lg. bay leaf
1/8 tsp. tarragon
1/8 tsp. sweet basil

Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain seasoning out.

Serve hot garnished with a very thin slice of lemon. This may be made ahead and reheated.
