7 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cream of tartar
4 c. brown sugar
1 c. melted butter
4 eggs

Mix ingredients well and form into roll. Let stand in refrigerator until firm. Slice 1/4 to 1/2 inch and bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes approximately 100 cookies.
