APPLE CRISP 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. butter
6 or 7 good sized apples
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Add slightly beaten egg and make crumbs. Cover the bottom of a Pyrex casserole with apples thinly sliced. Over this spread the crumb mixture. Melt the butter and spread over the top to the crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with whipping cream. Serves 6.
