PLUM GOOD COBBLER 
1 qt. sliced, pitted plums
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. corn syrup or honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. biscuit mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk or water
2 tsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, toss plums with salt, flour, corn syrup and cinnamon. Mix packaged biscuit mix with sugar, milk or water. Pour over plums; top with brown sugar and melted butter. Bake uncovered, 40 minutes or until topping is golden and plums are tender. Serve with cream or ice cream. Serves 8.
