2 lb. stewing beef 5 big carrots, cut in chunks 3 lg. onions, cut in chunks 3 stalks celery, cut in 2 inch pieces 5 potatoes, cut in quarters 3 tbsp. tapioca 2 c. tomatoes, cut up 1 tsp. salt 2 bay leaves 1 tsp. sugar Pepper Worcestershire sauce Place meat in bottom of large roasting pan. Sprinkle tapioca over meat. Add rest of ingredients and spices. Shake Worcestershire sauce over all. Stir. Cover and bake 5 hours at 250 degrees. Stir after 2-3 hours. |
