ONE-STEP LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef (instead of beef, 1 pkg/bunch spinach)
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
3/4 c. water (less if homemade sauce and is wet)
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
12 oz. carton cottage cheese
4 uncooked lasagna noodles
3 oz. sliced Mozzarella (or shredded)
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 egg
4 additional lasagna noodles
3 oz. additional Mozzarella

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown ground beef, drain and stir in spaghetti sauce, water, basil, oregano. Set aside.

In small bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg.

In ungreased 13x9 inch pan, layer 4 lasagna noodles, half the meat/spaghetti mixture, half the cottage cheese mixture (half the spinach) and 3 ounce of Mozzarella. Repeat layers with 4 additional lasagna noodles, remaining meat/sauce, remaining cottage cheese mixture and additional 3 ounce Mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
