CHESS PIE | |
1 unbaked 9" pie shell 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1 tbsp. cornmeal 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. milk Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs to butter/sugar mixture. Beat well. Sift together cornmeal, flour and nutmeg. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Alternate with milk. Mix well. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees until knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
