IRISH SODA BREAD
2 c. flour (sifted)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins and currants or 1 c. raisins or vice versa
1 1/8 c. buttermilk

Mix all together and plop into middle of greased cast iron frying pan. (Aluminum frying pan or 8-inch cake pan may be used, but best results from cast iron.) Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

HINT: Do not spread out in pan. It spreads by itself. Just plop it.
