FRIED APPLES 
6 baking apples, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Melt butter in large skillet. Add apples. Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Cover and cook on low heat 25-30 minutes or until tender. Place on warm serving platter with pancake turner. Cook juices to thicken, then pour over apples. Makes 6 servings.
