2 qts. scalded milk
4 pkgs. Knox gelatine, softened in cold water
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. cream
3 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 can milk

Mix and put in freezer can and add milk to 3/4 full and freeze. Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
