MAPLE CREAM PIE 
1 c. maple syrup
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/3 c. white sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. vanilla
Heavy cream
Walnut meat

Put in double boiler and scald maple syrup, milk. Then mix together eggs, sugar and cornstarch; add this to hot milk and syrup, stirring until it thickens.

Remove from heat; beat in maple flavoring. Put in shell; top with whipped cream (unsweetened is best). Sprinkle with walnut meats.
