PASTA PISELLE CON LINGUICA | |
1 lb. linguica 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed 3 med. onions, sliced thinly 2 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 8 oz. can sliced, drained mushrooms 16 oz. can peas, undrained 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce 8 oz. macaroni, cooked according to pkg. In large skillet, on medium heat, saute linguica, garlic and onion in oil for 25 minutes. Add mushrooms, sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for another 20 minutes. Add cooked macaroni and undrained peas. Simmer for additional 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Romano cheese as topping. |
