1 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. shortening or butter
1/2 tsp. salt

In one bowl mix sugar, flour and soda.

In another bowl mix buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, shortening and salt. Mix this well and then add your first bowl.

Cut and roll out your cookies and bake at 350 degrees until done. Decorate any way you like.
