MICROWAVE BREAD PUDDING 
4 c. bread cubes, 5 slices
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins; optional
2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter

Spread bread cubes in 8 inch round dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and salt and raisins if desired. Measure milk in 1 quart container; add butter. Microwave at high for 4 minutes until melted. Rapidly stir in eggs with fork and mix well. Pour over bread and microwave on medium temperature for 6 minutes. Rotate and cook for 6 more minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
