SAUSAGE AND RICE 
1 can water chestnuts
1 onion, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
2 pkgs. dry chicken noodle soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces
1 can chicken broth
1 lb. sausage
1 green pepper, chopped
5 c. water
1 c. uncooked rice
1 pkg. sliced almonds

Brown sausage and drain off fat. Add onions, pepper and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender. Place water in large pan; add soup mix and rice.

Bring to boil and boil 10 minutes. Add to sausage mixture; add mushrooms and almonds. Place in 8x11x2-inch baking dish. Add chicken broth and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. (Don't cook as long for crunchy.)
