RAISIN SPICE COOKIES 
2 c. uncooked oatmeal
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
3 sticks butter
2 c. each, raisins and nuts ground together
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
7 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
5 eggs

Cream sugar and butter together. Add vanilla, baking powder, and allspice. Add flour, 2 cups at a time. Save some of the flour to make dough in rolls. Wrap the rolls in wax paper. Put in the freezer, keep as long as 3 months. Take out of freezer, cut in slices. Grease cookie sheet. Place 1 inch apart. Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
