JUDY'S BREAKFAST SOUFFLE | |
20 slices white bread 5-6 tbsp. butter 10 slices thinly sliced ham 10 slices American cheese 9 eggs 3 c. milk 1 c. cornflakes Remove crusts from approximately 20 slices of white bread. Melt butter (butter) and brush both sides of bread. Place 10 slices in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking pan (cut to fully line the bottom). Place a layer of thinly sliced ham and a layer of American cheese on the top of the bread. Place the remaining slices of buttered bread on top of ham-cheese layer. Whisk 9 eggs and add 3 cups milk. Pour this mixture over the layered slices and place in refrigerator overnight. Before baking sprinkle a cup of cornflakes on top of souffle. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
