HARVEST DELIGHT CAKE 
2 3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. applesauce (unsweetened)
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. each cloves, allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon

Blend until smooth and well blended. Stir in 1 cup walnuts. Pour into prepared 13x9 inch pan. Press whole large marshmallows into batter to bottom of pan in 4 rows - 5 in each row. Bake 50 minutes, 350 degrees.
