This recipe is unbelievable. I just made a really small version of it - tasting & adjusting... Who would believe anything so simple - could be so delicious. Will NEVER buy store bought again. This is going into my recipe cards immediately - and will be the ONLY recipe used. Thank you so much for sharing...

This Tartar Sauce is phenomenal. I unleash my food processor of doom to mince onion finely and put 1/4 cup minced sweet onion per cup of Mayo. I also use freshly squeezed lemons instead of limes.

You folks do realize that Tartar Sauce is the State Beverage of Wa. State, don't you? This recipe is perfect for that duty except for the teensy dribble you get from it. Multiply it X 4 or 6 and you've got something.

Really disappointed when I got home and realized I didn't have tartar sauce, no sweet pickles, now what do I do? Figure I would check the Internets. I am so happy - had everything in the recipe but probably won't buy tartar sauce again. This really is fantastic!

Good recipe. I usually add 1/3 cup of finely diced yellow onion or 2 tbsp. of minced dry onion. If dry onion, allow to rest for at least an hour to reconstitute, longer if possible.
