LINGUINI 'N CLAM SAUCE 
3 c. fresh or canned minced clams with juice
3 tbsp. butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tsp. flour (salt and pepper added)
1/2 tsp. basil
1 lg. spaghetti linguini
1 tbsp. parsley, finely minced

Mince the 3 cups of clams. Heat butter; saute garlic for 1 minute. Blend in flour and stir until smooth. Season with salt and flour to taste. Add basil, parsley, minced clams, and juice. Stir; cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over cooked linguini noodles. Sprinkle with parsley.
