BLACK BOTTOM BROWNIES 
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips, (6 oz.)
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cooking oil

Combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and salt. Beat well and stir in chocolate chips. Set aside. Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat well until combined. Fill in a 9 x 13 greased pan. Top with cream cheese mixture dropping on by spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting and nuts if desired.
