CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix these ingredients together for the crust. Pat into bottom of 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Brown at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool before adding filling.

8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 sm. container Cool Whip

Mix cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and vanilla together for filling. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour into crust when cooled. Top with 1 can cherry pie filling. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight before serving.
