CHOCOLATE APPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sour cream
2 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. walnuts, chopped
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2 apples, cored and grated
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Beat eggs, sugar, butter, and sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in nuts, chips, apples, and vanilla. Spoon into greased and floured (mix cocoa powder in with flour to flour pan) 10 inch tube pan with loose bottom. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes. Test with tester. Cake is rich and moist. Needs no frosting unless desired. Keeps well.
