MEAT AND POTATO PIE 
2 lbs. lean beef, cubed
2 med. onions, grated
3 med. potatoes, sliced
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. cold water

Boil meat until almost done; drain, reserving broth. Place alternate layers of meat, onions and potatoes in a casserole. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Pour meat broth over casserole. Cut shortening into flour. Add cold water; mix as for pie crust. Place crust over casserole. Bake at 325 degrees until tender and golden brown. Makes 6-8 servings.
