CRANBERRY BALLS 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped cranberries

Mix sugar and butter. Add egg and mix. Sift all dry ingredients together and mix. Stir in milk. Add cranberries. Drop by tablespoon into hot fat. Fry 4 to 5 minutes, drain. Roll in sugar and cinnamon.
