EASY MAPLE SYRUP 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring

Mix both sugars and water in a small pan. Heat to boiling point and dissolve the sugars. Let it cool a few minutes. Add flavorings. Makes 1 3/4 cups. Store leftover syrup in sealed container or old syrup bottle.
